RawToHEIC is sold as a one‑time universal purchase through the Apple App Store. You get a personal, non‑transferable license to use it on any device signed in to your Apple ID. It runs entirely on your device, we don't warrant that software is ever bug‑free, and Apple — not us — handles refunds.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the developer of RawToHEIC ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, worldwide, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use RawToHEIC on Apple‑branded devices that you own or control, and as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (EULA) and the Apple Family Sharing rules.
This is a license — not a sale — of the software. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the app that are not expressly granted to you here.
RawToHEIC operates on photos already in your device's Photos library. We never access, read, or transmit your photos over the network — conversion happens entirely on your hardware. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement, or that conversions will be lossless or error‑free. We do not warrant that the app will meet your requirements, run without interruption, or be compatible with every RAW variant produced by every camera manufacturer.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of photos, loss of profits, or business interruption — arising out of or in connection with your use of the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. You may also have statutory rights that are not affected by these Terms.
The app relies on Apple's image codecs, PhotoKit, and operating‑system frameworks. Their behavior, performance, and continued availability are controlled by Apple, not us.
These Terms remain in effect while the app is installed on your devices. You may terminate them at any time by deleting the app. We may terminate or suspend your license immediately if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 2, 5, 7, 8, 11, and 12 survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes for the update that introduces them. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Your continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory statutory rights you may have as a consumer in your country of residence.
